Spittlywood is a bespoke joinery workshop at Ham Leas Farm in Hamstreet, near Ashford in Kent. Staircases, fitted wardrobes, doors, windows and one-off commissions are all made here.
Finished drawings, a rough sketch or nothing more than an idea are all a fine place to start. If an architect or builder is already involved, we are happy to work from their plans.

What our customers say
Steve and the team at Spittlywood were central to our church refurbishment project. They designed and built (from scratch) two staggeringly-beautiful oak stair-cases and a number of matching shelves/door thresholds etc to tie everything together. I couldn’t recommend their service and professionalism more from start to finish.
The craftsmanship is absolutely superb, every detail has been finished to an exceptionally high standard. A great company to work with from start to finish, professional, reliable, and clearly passionate about what they do. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for quality bespoke joinery.
We have just had a replacement oak front door with two glazed side panels made and fitted by Spittlywood. Communication throughout the process was very good and the end product is excellent, well made and fits perfectly.
